Eat, eat and eat. Drink, drink, and drink. Rinse San Francisco 49ers vs New Orleans Saints vintage shirt. Repeat. In all seriousness, the Bay Area is such a foodie mecca that any visit should include copious amounts of time dedicated to exploring the restaurant and bar scene. New restaurants are popping up almost weekly, so the “hot” restaurant is always changing, but a few of the hottest right now: Coqueta (amazing location on the waterfront); Trick Dog (hot bar scene with amaze cocktails but also quality food); Cotogna (affordable Italian, hard to get a reso, but very much worth the hassle given the excellent food, reasonably priced, in a nice, intimate setting); State Bird Provision (one of the country’s hottest restaurants, maybe under renovation though).
After you’ve had your fill of eating and drink, San Francisco 49ers vs New Orleans Saints vintage shirt you should definitely make way to the new Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park – the place is amazing, Thursday nights they have “Nightlife” for adults. The Exploratorium just debuted in a brand new building/location right on the waterfront, the Embarcadero. Also along the Embarcadero is the Ferry Building, which is full of hot, trendy, popular restaurants, eateries, boutique shops, coffee shops, etc. The Saturday Farmer’s Market at the Ferry Building is one of the country’s best farmer’s market, you can lose a half-day there just exploring. And though most SF residents avoid the Fisherman’s Wharf like it’s the flu, if you’ve never been, it’s almost a required stop or else everyone back home will ask “How was Fisherman’s Wharf? Did you go to Alcatraz? Did you see the seals at the Wharf?” and you’ll have to make up a lie or tell them you didn’t go. Fisherman’s Wharf is at one end of the Embarcadero, AT&T Park, home of the SF Giants, is at the opposite end, with Exploratorium, Ferry Building, Bay Bridge and a bunch of restaurants sandwiched between the two. So a super full day could be spent walking from one end to the other (about 3 miles one way) and stopping at all of those places along the way. I advise breaking that up into two days.
